Poor old Wolverine. The things he is forced to go through during puberty.

There's the new weird hair, in particular the unstoppable growth of the mega-sideburns, and of course things beginning to protrude out of his body, in particular the steel claws from the backs of his hands.

We finally see young James Howlett, aka Logan aka Wolverine, in the latest preview from the new X-Men Origins movie to be released in early May and starring Hugh Jackman.

Another Australian, Perth singer Troye Mellet, plays role of the adolescent Wolverine, while Aussie soap legend Peter O'Brien plays his dad.

Co-starring is Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool, Mr Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber as Victor Creed aka Sabretooth, Dominic Monaghan as Barnell Bohusk aka Beak, Lynn Collins as Silver Fox, Danny Huston as William Stryker and Taylor Kitsch as Remy LeBeau aka Gambit.
