If you love your Watchmen, it's big screen adaptation will not be the only release you have been eagerly awaiting to see.
There's two other minor parts of the famous graphic novel that have been given a working over by director Zack Snyder and his team.
Two weeks after Watchmen's cinematic unveiling, Tales of the Black Freighter and Under The Hood will hit the DVD shelves.
They are the stories within a story and fortunately haven't been forgotten in the scramble to finally get Watchmen in live-action form.
A kind of pirates tale, The Black Freighter in particular was compelling reading (and viewing) intermittently popping up and taking us away from the world of Rorschach, Night-Owl and Silk Spectre.
It enters the fray each time as a comic book called 'Marooned' that this black kid is seen reading on the streets of the alternate New York City of 1985 featured in Watchmen.
It centres on a young mariner, who after being cast adrift at sea, must find his way home - by whatever means necessary. Without giving too much away, some of the 'means' are quite inventive and gory.
You can now check out the trailer for what is a 24-minute animated feature, with Gerard Butler (300) lending his voice to the mariner.
