Two-Face, One Movie?

MOVIE NEWS
If you're one of the few who haven't seen The Dark Knight and don't want to have the catwoman let out of the bag as far as the ending goes, don't read on.
For those who do know how the blockbuster that has been smashing box office records since it's release in July ends you'll understand.
You might also be a little disappointed to learn that we've had the best assurance yet that the character of Gotham City District Attorney Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face, is indeed dead.
Batman, of course, pushes him off a three-storey building in a construction site in order to stop him from shooting newly-promoted Commissioner James Gordon and his son.
Even though there was a memorial held for the 'good guy turned bad' Dent at the end of the film, debate has raged over whether such an important character has indeed been laid to rest, or it's simply a ruse.
Fans had hoped Two-Face, played to perfection by Aaron Eckhart, would appear in a third Christopher Nolan offering of the Caped Crusader, as the main villain alongside a new adversary for Batman, The Riddler.
One idea was to have the revoltingly scarred and deranged, yet still alive, Dent locked-up at Arkham Asylum by Batman and Gordon only to break out and wreak havoc in Gotham, the city he once tried so valiantly to protect.
Nice idea, but, ain't gonna happen by the looks of things.
Well-known movie site CHUD scored an exclusive with the man who'd probably know best, Eckhart.
"I asked Chris (Nolan) if there was a chance of coming back,'' he told the site. ``'No way,' he said. 'He's toast.'"
Of course, that comment could also be a ruse.
Make no mistake though, there will be a follow-up to The Dark Knight, thanks to its $500,000,000 box earnings in the US alone.
We might just have to do with Johnny Depp as The Riddler ... or maybe Phillip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin ... or maybe Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. Hang on, been done.
Keep watching this space...
