More teasing from Watchmen

MOVIE NEWS
We got another glimpse of Watchmen this week with the release of a new teaser poster.
There's only five months to go now until the Zack Snyder-directed flick hits the multiplex.
It's been a 21-year wait for fans of the Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons graphic novel which famously made Time magazine's top 100 novels.
For those who don't know - and I didn't until about 18-months ago - Watchmen is set in an alternate reality where superheroes, once part of the fabric of society, have been banished from the landscape.
One, who happens to wear a smiley face badge as part of his costume, even is murdered as part of a conspiracy.
It's a brilliantly intricate story, a uniquely serious look at the superhero, and deserves a brilliant telling on the big screen.
There's been many attempt to bring Watchmen to life, not including the odd film student offering on youtube.
According to the very informative imdb, Robin Williams, Kevin Costner, and Richard Gere were all rumoured to be starring in an early-1990s adaptation from the at-times seemingly cursed director Terry Gilliam.
Tom Cruise, Jude Law and Simon Pegg were names later thrown around when directors such as Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy) and Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain) were linked to the project.
Zack Snyder eventually made things happen in 2007 after the success of his adaptation of another classic graphic novel 300, from Frank Miller.
